May 23
Today we are headed home to Oregon!!!!! We found we had a lot of things we didn't need in the 5th wheel and some things we needed and didn't have. So we are going to unload and reload and start over packing our home on wheels. One day we went to make a loaf of banana bread when we realized we had no mixing bowl, we found the crock pot liner worked just great as a mixing bowl.
It is a new life adjusting and adapting to the many changes. We will be home for 8 days with so much to do and places to go. We think our two families will be our main source 0f entertainment.
May 24th Everything looked so good when we drove up to our house. Bill and William had just finished mowing the lawn and washing the dust off of grandma's car. They stayed for a short visit. We will have all of them over for dinner tomorrow night.
May 26 We went to the beach for the Memorial weekend. Kents daughters and their families were there. Sharon took her grandson Bodie, he loves Kent's beach (that is what he calls the beach). We had great sunny weather the 1st day and then typical beach weather, it started to rain for the rest of the weekend. We never let the rain cloud our fun, we had a good time. We took Maya and Bodie to ride the beach train from Rockaway to Garibaldi and back.
May 28 Monday Today we went to Portland and bought a new bike for Sharon. Kent has a bike and he wanted Sharon to have one also as there are a lot of neat bike trails in the towns we will be going to. This is going to be fun, as Sharon hasn't ridden a bike for 18 years so we got her a helmet, gloves, and Biking Pants (Speedos).
