July 26 thru 28

Wednesday We arrived late afternoon in Kimball and after setting things in order, we went out for a drink before dinner. It turned out to be a lot of fun, as we ran into some old friends of Sharon's who had just flown in from Texas. We had fun catching up on everyone and everything. The next few days was spent visiting Sharon's cousins in Platte and Kimball.
The temperature on July 28th was 110 at 4:00 PM, 104 at 7:30 PM and it was still a hot 98 degrees at 10 PM that night. We drove all over that day sight seeing and we were very thankful for air conditioning.
