April 23 through May 2nd

After 9 days in Laughlin, we are on the road again headed to Lake Havasu, Arizona. We got a wonderful camping space right on the water.(pictures) The weather here is very warm and the lake is beautiful with all the boats and jet ski'ers to watch racing all over. On the weekend they had Hydro boat races and that was fun to watch from our big window.
They have a casino across the lake and have a boat that ferries the people over and back hourly. We went over to the casino for a couple of hours on the boat. The boat trip was fun the casino was oh hum.
The couple camping next to us are about42 years old with a 8 and a 2 year old. They have a beautiful toy hauler trailer they pull with 3500 truck and a Cadillac Escapade. Inside are 2 jet skis and 2 four-wheelers. Beside their trailer is a 40' cigar boat that is absolutely gorgeous. They rent the space for the entire summer and come to use their toys every weekend. We wondered what they did for a living, because if their toys are this great, what does the house they live in look like????? They were very nice and polite and we enjoyed watching them come and go.
Our friends Howard and Cyndy(picture) who we met in Chula Vista brought their 5th wheel down from Las Vegas and visited us for a couple of days. We grilled steaks and had a great time visiting and catching up with them. They like our trailer and are looking for one like ours. We plan to keep in touch and see each other down the road.
