April 3. Today is traveling day and we are ready for a new change of scenery. We are now at "Sam's Town" RV Park in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was a long drive today, about 400 miles, so we are going to stay here for a few days.The campground is a nice one and real close to the casino. We are collecting casino player cards and it is fun to see how many casinos we had been in already. We have a lot of favorite penny slot machines and they keep us entertained in the evenings.
April 7 We went to "Hoover Dam" today. (pictures) This is another thing that Sharon has never seen. On the way back to town we stopped at Lake Mead and fed the Carp a whole box of Cherrios that we had brought along. The Carp were so thick that we couldn't see the water for amount of fish and size.(picture)
April 8 Today is Easter Sunday, we found a lovely church close to where we are staying. We ate dinner in the casino and that was our day. The holidays are hard for Sharon as she misses the gathering of her large family and the Easter egg hunt for the two little ones (Bodie and Blaize) The casino had a lovely buffet dinner with all the trimmings.
