Sunday the 15th Today we went to Baxter Park where we water tubed 5 miles down the Boise River. It took about 2 1/2 hours and it was alot of fun. Kent soon was ahead of Sharon in the current with her having no prior experience as he did with water tubing. He started yelling at her to paddle with her hands and get going faster. When she did, it put her in the bushes along the shore and they were really scratchy. Kent started paddling with is hands upstream to reach Sharon, about that time a large 4 person raft bumped into Sharon and were kind enough to push her the rest of the way to where Kent was downstream. After that it was fun, we hooked our tubes together and we stayed together. There were 4 small falls to go over and Sharon drank half the river the first one we went through, she learned how to do it better the next time. We will do that again if we find another park that has tubing to do. (pictures)
