Tomorrow is another anniversary of the "Twin Towers" and there is a lot of activities going on here. They have platforms set up for the speakers and a chorus was practicing singing the songs for tomorrows program. The big hole (ground zero) is all blocked by tall fences with covers over them, you don't see much. It just doesn't seem possible that the twin towers fit in that space behind the fence. Sharon went through a temporary museum that they are using until they have it all complete and a museum built, while Kent waited outside. Sharon said with all those people going through the museum, not one person was speaking a word, they just wondered through it reading and looking at everything in absolute silence. The silence was really strange, but had anyone started talking, I am sure we would have looked at them in surprise.A lot of school children made blocks expressing their feeling that are hung on the wall and will be put in the new museum when done. You could spend days there reading all the letters and notes people have written, and are still writing. So much sadness those people are still experiencing in their lives from all the letters they have written. It is hard to believe that something like this could happen in the United States of America. We had to write three blogs today to get done all that we did and have room to post the pictures.
