September 12 &13, 2008

Friday 12~~~ We drove to Atlantic City, New Jersey this morning, it is very hot and muggy here. It is just a few miles from Atlantic City. We went out for our Friday night dinner at a place the campground recommended , after such good seafood in Maine, we were really disappointed with our meal. Next we drove to one of the casinos here and we had a lot of fun playing on their money. We went home early and stayed up quite late watching television. It really rained hard in the night , so it will really be humid now. Saturday 13~~~ We slept in today, as we were so tired from all that walking to those National Parks in New York City. We drove to Atlantic City to see the boardwalk and we walked quite a bit of it and out to the ocean. It was 93 degrees here today with the humidity 85, so it was torture being outside today. Kent says now he can understand why the people here walk so slow, it is because it is too muggy to walk fast and get all warmed up. LOL We went to the Taj Mahal and that was a real disappointment to us. The casino looks old and very unkempt and the people who work there have Trumps attitude (cocky). We didn't stay long and wouldn't go back there again. Tomorrow we are leaving for Philadelphia, there is a lot to see there.
