Wednesday 1st~~~ We drove 300 miles again today to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We stopped at "Moores Creek" National Park on the way here. It is another park where the Revolutionary War was fought between the Patriots and the Loyalists supporting the British. (picture) It was a good break for Kent and the films they show are always so interesting. We never knew that so many battles were fought in the United States until we started stopping at the National Parks. We were late stopping for the day, so we stopped at a Wal Mart, to use their parking lot for the evening. We went inside and asked for permission to park there, then we drove to a chicken place and ate dinner. We came back to Wal Mart and parked and played cards for the evening. This is the second time we have stayed at a Wal Mart, the other time we parked at a Wal Mart, we parked along the side of the building where all the vendors bring their products. (Bread, pop, potato chips etc.) we woke up surrounded with trucks and their back up beepers beeping. We got out of there fast. This time we parked out front along the curb towards the street. This worked out great, we were getting ready for the day, Sharon was standing at the kitchen sink washing our coffee cups when she saw this car drive into the parking lot from the street driving parallel towards our trailer. She kept watching him because he was so close she thought he was going to hit our step. Next she heard a bang, she yelled at Kent as she ran out the door to chase him. He had thrown a plastic vodka bottle at us and it hit the trailer and was laying on the step. He turned around and was headed back again, so Sharon in her bath robe picked up the bottle and she threw the bottle back at him. Kent came out the door in his underclothes with the thought of chasing him but had second thoughts with the way he was dressed. He waved or gave them the birdie. He drove out of the lot and that was the end of him. A few weeks ago in another Wal Mart in another state, Sharon was standing at the service desks counter when this little old lady lost control of her powered scooter and she ran into Sharon's shopping cart and it hit Sharon knocking her about 8 feet down the counter. I don't know who was more scared, she or Sharon.
