Saturday 4~~~ Today we drove to a couple of National Parks Visitor centers and we watched the videos and looked at the displays. The one was Fort Sumter which is on an Island . Fort Sumter National Monument is in Charleston harbor and can be reached only by boat. There are boats that take you out to the Island and tell you the story of how the beginning of the Civil War began here. We also went to Fort Moultrie Visitors center They had our 33 star flag on display. We had fun trying to think of the states it represented. There is so much water and so many bridges here, we took a picture of an unusual one. We are so glad we have LOLA (our GPS) to tell us where to go. Sometimes Kent is sure she is telling him the wrong way, and he does it his way and we wind up going her way.
