Saturday 11~~~ On the road again heading southwest through Alabama towards Mississippi. The Fire Ant bites on Kent's feet and the one on my toe have formed pustules, the computer says not to open them or you get infection, so we are leaving them alone. I can't imagine living where these miserable things are all over and the miserable sand to track in your house. Our beautiful state of Oregon looks better all the time. I think it is God's Paradise!!!!! We were going to stay at Biloxi, Mississippi, but couldn't find a camp ground in the area that wasn't full, we are staying in a town called Bay Saint Louis. Tonight we went to the Casino that is about 3 miles from our campground for dinner and a few hours with the slots. We can see why all the houses are on such tall stilts with all their hurricanes here, they are right near the water, there is no cliffs to hold the ocean water back.The pictures show how close the water is to the road. The trees are just snapped off or pulled out by the roots. We are leaving in the morning for New Orleans, Louisiana. We will spend a few days touring the French Quarters and Bourbon Street.
