Friday 8~~~ We stayed in Tonopah last night and we drove as far as Reno where we are staying for 2 nights. Kent saw on the television there was a water festival on the river walk tomorrow and he wants to go to it. Anything that concerns the water is an interest to Kent, he loves the water. The festival was fun with lots of food booths, vendors selling their wares, the Clydesdale horses and kayak boat races and people showing off their skills with kayaking in the fast water. The shores were lined with people sitting on rocks and the children playing in the water. We couldn't decide what food we wanted to eat for lunch so we were watching people as they picked up their orders to see what the food looked like. A lady ordered the taco dinner with a side of cheese nachos, they put the nachos on two plates and she said she had only ordered one. They said it was one order but it was so big, it took 2 plates to hold all the nachos, plus the taco plate. She asked me if I would help her by eating one of the plates of nachos. What a deal! They were delicious with a cold beer; Kent ate a Tri-tip steak sandwich that was very good also. We spent about 3 hours there leaving in time to go to the Cathedral for Mass and then out for dinner at an old Italian Restaurant that was recommenced to us by Cindy our friend.
