May 7, 2009 Dante's peak

Thursday 7~~~~~We stopped at Dante's View on our way through Death Valley and we took some pictures of the beautiful desert from the peak. The climb up the hill was quite steep and long, I took this picture of Kent 2/3 's of the way up. When we left here we ate our picnic lunch that I always pack for us, we enjoy it so much more than stopping at a restaurant and as the scenery is always different and more beautiful.
