Tuesday 1~~~~~ It is getting closer to Christmas as we are now in December. I went to the lighting of the Christmas tree at the Capital Bldg. tonight with Tress and the kids. This is the first time I have done that in all the years I have lived here. It was a beautiful sight to see and the different schools sang Christmas songs. You sit on the wide stair steps leading to the House and Senate. They have chairs for the elderly and handicapped on the rotunda floor, it was so crowded when we got there, we could hardly find a step to sit on and we got there early. They served punch and cookies to everyone afterwards and the children enjoyed getting up close to the big train set they have set up every year by the tree going round and round. After it was over we went over to Pam and Jeff's to celebrate the twins, Justin and Joel's birthday and have cake and ice cream with them. It was another busy day writing on the kids books all day today.
