Sunday 18~~~ Today was a hard day of work in the park , I hauled recycle the last three days and today was another full afternoon of hauling more, there were less sites to clean, as people are on vacation now staying for longer periods of time, but more wood to sell and recycle to pick up. We still love our jobs and enjoy the people soooooooo much!! We drove into town tonight to find our house pretty warm from being shut up all week. We had Blaize spend the night with us, as her brother Bodie is camping all week with his Grandpa Luke. Monday 19~~~~ Kent went to Portland to visit his friend Cary who is in the hospital and I kept Blaize here for another night with us, I made her a bed on the floor beside our bed. She liked that a lot, she and all her stuffed animals. Tuesday 20~~~~I went to the beauty salon and had Nancy give me a hair cut, while I visited with the girls. We set up a date to have dinner and a card party at my house on August ninth, we did it last December and had a lot of fun. We still have fun together catching us on the latest in each other's lives. I also spent the afternoon with Thresa helping her, I cooked a huge pot of my Italian pasta dish I make for Kent so often. We ate dinner with them and we froze half of it for another meal for Cory or Tress to warm up some night for an easy meal by just cooking the noodles, I made her a huge salad to last all week also. Wednesday 21~~~~Tonight Kent called Ranger Dan and asked him if he wanted us to do the "Star Gazing" show we started doing in the ball field of the park on Wednesday nights. The park received 4 huge telescopes for this program from the government and our Ranger Dan who does this show had a family emergency and wasn't able to do it. The hardest part of doing it was taking them apart, hauling the telescopes over to the ball park and putting them back together there and after the show, taking them apart again and hauling them back to the office and putting them together again. It was a lot of fun and everyone really enjoyed using them, the moon was so bright that it made star gazing real hard, but the people from the park really enjoyed seeing the moon so bright and up so close with all the craters on it. We had about 25 adults and 10 to 12 children at our class, so we were happy we did it for Dan. (Pictures) Thursday 22~~~~~Tonight Lisa, Gene and Ray drove to Mill City to eat Pizza with us at the pizza parlor here. It is the one they really like and stop at whenever they go up the mountain snow mobiling. They stopped at our camp to see where we live and we visited until well after dark. They left us with a goody bag of fresh corn on the cob, peaches and blue berries, what a delightful surprise. I showed Ray how bright the stars are in the skyup here in the mountains on my Droid and how it finds them by name. It really gets dark here in the park when the sun goes down, the stars are so beautiful because there is no light in the park with the exception of a few lanterns and the campfires.
