Sunday 3~~~~~We left the camp ground at 10AM this morning with our friends to go to the Rocky Mountain National Park. We missed Mass last night getting here so late, and we missed it again this morning, I don't like to do that, but once in a blue moon, it happens. The drive to the park was beautiful and I can see why they called it the "Rocky Mountains National Park", there are rocks all over everywhere. We didn't take a lot of pictures, as it looks a lot like yesterday. LOL As we were driving, we saw all the cars stopping up ahead and people were getting out, so we did what they did and there was a huge old Elk laying under a tree. (picture) Of course we had to take several pictures of it like everyone else did. It was the only form of wild life we saw for days. LOLWe stopped for lunch after much driving at a Subway Shop. We couldn't find a fast food anywhere in the area we were driving and we were getting real hungry. We finally found a "Subway" which we all like, we ate there. After lunch we went to the "Coors Beer Brewery"; it was interesting and we enjoyed sampling the new beers and the ones we don't usually drink. They give you a small glass of Coors Light on the tour, then they give you 3 drink tickets and you get to pick your choice of three nice sized glasses of beer of your choice after the tour in the bar room. I really liked the Blue Moon beer with orange slices in it. We drove home just in time to go to a Mexican Restaurant we had read about that sounded like fun. It is a copy of the divers who dive off the rocks in Alcapoco. They had this large pool with water running down rocks and a jungle like setting and these young men tell jokes before jumping into the deep pool while you are watching then while eating. We had a cliff side table which was nice. There was also a Mari ache band playing and a man in a gorilla costume (picture) that went through the tables acting funny and he too jumped into the water from the cliff. The place was filled to capacity and as soon as a table emptied, it was immediately filled again. The food wasn't the best Mexican food we have ate, but we all enjoyed the experience and got a laugh out of it all. We are just thankful for each day we have to do what we want and to have the energy and good health to do it. We feel we are very blessed.
