Friday 31~~~~~This morning after we drank a couple of cups of coffee from our new Keurig coffee brewer we received from Kent's two daughters and their families for Christmas, we packed up the rest of the things we need to take with us for our trip south for the winter. Today is my daughter Kim's birthday (the big 50) I certainly don't feel old enough to have a daughter that old!!!! It is also the day of my grand daughter Breanna's birthday (19), so I was busy calling both of them as soon as we were on the road. Tomorrow would have been my mothers birthday, we really celebrate a lot of birthdays in January and December. We left town about 1PM heading as far as Canyon ville (Seven Feathers Casino) for the day. It was getting dark when we pulled into the camp ground and there was only 6 spaces left when we signed in, that was calling it pretty close. After we got the TV hooked up and things all put away, we took the shuttle to the casino where we ate dinner and played the slots. I received my $5.00 birthday money from the casino and we received $27 on our card for the fuel we bought and for staying in the campground. That was fun playing with their money for awhile. LOL We didn't see in the New Year at the casino, we came home and watched a good movie before heading to bed. I guess we must be getting old, and are content to do quieter things together. I remember when I used to plan for weeks what I was going to wear and where we where going and who with. Now things are so quiet and enjoyable in a different way.
