How Suite it is part two

We have had so many requests for our blog from our friends and family, so here we go again. We traded in our beautiful Mobile Suite 5th wheel with 400 square feet for a much smaller rig. We had about 175 thousand miles on it and it was needing some spendy attention. We really liked our 5th wheel but we decided to go smaller so we could travel without the hassle of having to have reservations to park for the night and to be able to boon dock in the many places that are camper friendly and free to use. We use a lot of Elks Clubs, Walmarts and Cracker Barrel Resturants and last but not least, the casinos! We bought a 24 foot Navion Winnebago motor home, that has everything we need and we can park it where the cars park at Star Bucks and other places. We already have 35 thousand miłes on our home and it has traveled to Atlanta to a camper rally, to Pensicola, Florida to tour the National Naval Aviation museum there and to many Nat. Parks and historical places from all the states we traveled through. We were with our fun traveling friends, John and Linda for a lot of that trip. We have so much fun after a busy day of sight seeing, playing cards and our fast track game board until we are too tired to hold our cards.

Our next  trip  was last year to the east coast, traveling through South Dakota where we stopped and enjoyed visiting with my many relatives there. When we stopped in Rapid City to see Retta & George, we got to see my cousin Jerry who I haven't seen since high school and that has been awhile ago,  next stop was Murdo to see my cuz there and then on to the little town of Vivian where my children were raised, this little town on the prairie has many happy memories . We always take a tour through the town taking more pictures of our little church, the school and grounds which is a garbage dump now. That makes me sad to see!  On to Kimball, the town I grew up in on a farm south of town, taking more pictures and enjoying the familiar faces at the truck stop. We parked our motor home at Tim &Nancy's house, we had a great time visiting with them before we called it a day. Our next stop was the Mayo Clinic Hospital where my cousin Carol had a very serious heart surgery. We stayed a couple of days with her and then back on the road to the east coast.
Going through Iowa, we stopped at the Winnebago Plant where they made our motor home to have a few minor things done by warranty. We were pleasantly surprised to have our friends, Don & Velda  Zingler (my high school friends from Kimball, S.D.). park beside us there. They had bought a new Navion and needed  something done to it. What a treat that was, meeting there by surprise, we usually meet each other in Yuma where we both go for the winter. What fun we had for two days playing our board game and eating together till late at night. We also played games while we were waiting for our motor homes to be worked on. We  sure had fun together!
